Quaint out of the way restaurant. Would be good to take visiting family somewhere different. Very friendly staff without being overpowering. Lovely well presented tasty food. I'd definitely go back.

First visit here. Down a bumpy track in the middle of nowhere and when you reach the end it looks like you've arrived in somebody's garden. You have arrived. The restaurant is a lovely wooden structure which is an extension built on a lovely country house just West of Kinross. When I booked, I didn't realise that the menu on a last Friday was an all in Asian menu. There was no choice - it was 5 courses with everything more or less delivered at the same time. With 60 plus covers they did a great job and the ladies serving did a great job. The dishes were an Asian fusion as we travelled via Thailand to Japan and China and all places in between. The menu worked very well and the whole meal was extremely enjoyable. Well worth the effort finding and a reservation is essential. Highly recommend and excellent value for money.

A great find on Google Maps! We stopped in on our way up north and were delighted with the food. As we follow a keto diet (no carbs), the friendly waitress was more than happy to swap the potatoes for extra green vegetables with our steak. The steaks were cooked perfectly rare and packed with flavor—an excellent spot for a quick, satisfying lunch. The only slight downside is the decor, but with food this good, it’s easy to overlook!

Had a delicious birthday meal with my grandad the staff were superb and very knowledgeable in the menu and what they sold. We both had the souffle for starter which was the first time I've had souffle and was recommended it by the owner herself as said you have to try ours It's the best and right she was so soft and fresh and an excellent recommendation. For main i had the trout with veg and potatoes. The fish was very fresh and fell off the skin and all the vegetables were cooked to perfection with the potatoes complementing the fish incredibly well. For my pudding i got a strawberry and cream bread and butter pudding Which could only be described as out of this world and rounded off an excellent meal. I hope to come back sometime in the future for a special occasion like this and enjoy some of the excellent food on offer by the restaurant thank you for the hospitality you gave me and my grandad we will remember it for the rest of our lives.

Everything is wonderful. One of my favourite restaurants, in the most beautiful setting. Vicki (the owner) is a legend.

Have been meaning to visit for years but as the place doesn't get, or need, much publicity we never got round to it until today. What a find! Lovely location and the food was outstanding. Not only beautifully cooked but generous portions and ridiculous value for money. I'm going to have to call out the smoked trout and crayfish starter as just a wonderful way to start the meal. But everyone enjoyed their starters. Sunday roast beef can be hit and miss but not here, beautifully tender beef not over cooked and you get plenty of it. The other main dishes were equally delicious. I could have eaten anything from the menu to be honest so we'll have to go back and give that a try. I saw the sea bass another diner was served and it looked fantastic so that's me for the next visit. And I have to give the staff a massive thank you, such lovely people who really want you to enjoy your meal. It was surprisingly busy and felt like they were under a bit of pressure but that didn't affect the service so well done! Can't wait to come back!

We had a splendid Sunday lunch for a family party of sixteen. Everyone was well-catered for including the children and the baby (high chair in place and hot water available for his bottle). The food was delicious, decent portions, beautifully presented. The service was excellent; the staff were very friendly and helpful. After the meal, the children played in the grounds surrounding the restaurant. It was a lovely afternoon, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
